Condos - Georgetown is the only town in which you can find a condo for less than $100,000. A 2 bedroom/1bath with 850 square feet will start at $80,000.

Homes - Since our towns were originally mining towns, we will occasionally see a small home ($300-700 square feet) usually built in the late 1890s, come up for sale and be priced between $90,000 to $100,000.  However, most of the time they need a lot of work.

Land - Most of the in-town lots that are available can be found in either Central City/ Black Hawk (40'X80' lot for $9,000) or Georgetown (50'X100' lot for $60,000).  All have access to public utilities.

Condos - A 1000 to 1200 square foot 1 car garage condo/townhouse in Idaho Springs start at $125,000 while new ones in Georgetown will start at $190,000.

Homes - Most of the homes found in this price range are older Victorians that have been refurbished in the 1000 to 1800 square foot range and usually without car storage.

Condos - The better condo/townhouse units are found in Georgetown and are priced at $220,000 for over 2000 square feet plus a garage.

Homes - The majority of homes found in this price range are refurbished Victorians over 2000 square feet, however, there have been several new homes built in Central City and Georgetown with the same square footage.

Homes - To find a home in this price range in town, it is usually very large and/or has been restored to its original condition.
